Tickets are $150 and include heavy hors d'oeuvres, cocktails, and a live musical performance by Boulder artist Otis Taylor.  
Otis Taylor is a Boulder musician known for his unique trance blues music style. A multi-instrumentalist, he specializes in guitar, banjo, and harmonica. His critically acclaimed music explores themes of history and personal struggle, making him a powerful storyteller.

What is Trance Blues? 
Trance blues is a rare blues subgenre that combines blues music with electronic, repetitive elements like drum machines, loops, and samples. Otis Taylor, a Colorado native, pioneered trance blues by combining blues with Appalachian country music and psychedelic rock. Blues music is traditionally known for its emotive lyrics, which often express melancholy and struggle. Trance Blues uses repetitive chords to create a hypnotic effect. Combine the two and be transported deep into the sounds and stories of the songs.
